“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.”
Barack Obama, speech, February 5, 2008

My daughter attended Bethlehem Christian Academy K-6 Grade. I have always been grateful for the Christian Education she received from the school and wanted to repay my gratitude.  Mrs. Warner was concerned with the lack of technology at the school. She wanted to offer the Teachers and Students the opportunity to integrate technology into the classroom. She  gratefully accepted me as a volunteer Technology Coach for Professional Development.

My first "World experience" artifact is a Power Point presentation I shared with Mrs. Warner and the Pastor, and Teachers outlining how we may approach devising a Technology Plan for the school.  The Technology Plan includes Professional Development for the school.

My second “World experience” artifact is the Technology Plan for Bethlehem Christian Academy. Through many Teachers Meetings, meetings with Mrs. Warner and Pastor Don Morris, I was able to put together a plan for technology integration and implementation in the school.

My first "Education experience" artifact  is a Technology Plan Evaluation of Bethlehem Christian Academy's plan which I ochestrated for the school. I learned how to evaluate a technology plan through the Planning For Technology course at the University of Akron taught by Dr. I-Chun Tsai.

My third "World experience" artifact is from a quote of a contractor, Golden Construction and Remodeling, willing to do a wireless network for internet access at Bethlehem Christian Academy (BCA) at minimum cost.

My second "Educational experience" artifact is a grant proposal. Bethlehem Christian Academy has limited funding for a technology program, as a result, I wrote a grant proposal to the Ambrose Monell Foundation, requesting funding for the infrastructural project for a wireless internet network at the school.

The grant proposal will be submitted once the foundation invites BCA to apply.

Artifacts four and five of my "World experience" artifacts are a Letter of Inquiry (which I composed for Mrs. Warner to submit to the Ambrose Monell Foundation. Upon acceptance of the letter, the foundation will invite the school to apply for grant funding) and follow up correspondence via email with Mrs. Warner reminding her to submit the Letter of Inquiry.
