Congratulations, you have created Wikispaces for your classroom. Wikispaces may be used for instructional and informational purposes. Use your wiki to remind your students of homework assignments, and refer them to online resources for homework help. Parents may keep informed of classroom activities and special events.

Now, let's add more features to your Classroom wiki. Audacity is an online recorder, think of it as an online tape-recorder. You may record your voice and add background music. Audacity may be a bit challenging, however, once mastered it’s well worth the effort. Auditory learners make up about 20% of the world’s population. Many of your students are auditory learners, and most need sound, text, and sight to gain knowledge of new concepts. Young learners are constantly feed auditory stimuli from technology through video games, television, radio, mp3s, and so on. It is time for teachers to use audio technology reinforcement for educational enrichment.

Today, you are going to record your own voice giving instructions to your students and parents to watch a video on Internet Safety, which you will embed later in your classroom wiki.
